I'm ALIVE......

Haha, I AM alive :)

I do have a good reason why I haven't been posting....

We use to have a laptop, but that broke. Then, we've had this really old computer we've had for years except it had a lot of viruses on it and it wouldn't let us go to certain websites without porn sites popping up. (Any Blogger sites and such being the places where it wouldn't let me go. Funny thing is that sometimes it would let me on Facebook.) And that computer wouldn't let us stay on the internet but for a few minutes then either the computer would shut down, or just the Internet Explorer pages would shut down! Ugh, so frustrating. Anyways, we were able to get a new to us computer (as an early Christmas present for the family) and that has been great!! I have a few subjects that are on the computer, so I've been able to use it to do my school now. The bad thing is that until we get the laptop fixed, I have no access to my papers that I have written for my writing and History subjects. Hopefully we can fix it and I can get them off from that computer!!!

I'm SO excited about the holidays and they seem to be flying by already! I can't believe it! God has been good to us and I'm soooo thankful for His loving kindness and grace. Our Thanksgiving went great! We went over to my Nana's and Pa's (mom's side) and had a WONDERFUL meal! I'm convinced that my Nana is the best cook, besides my mom :) It was great to see my aunts and uncle and my cousins!

We're having a Christmas play at our church this Sunday and we've been working hard on it. I'm praying that it will go well and that God will be glorified and that maybe some people will come in that have never heard the story of Christmas and will be saved! God works miracles and I know that it's possible :D

I'm SOOOOO sorry about not responding to every one's comments but hopefully I'll be able to get back to you! Thanks for all the invites to the groups!

I never post very often, so when I do, I have lots to post about! LOL


Dad got a new job! He started working at a propane place, which is really neat. We are able to get a small discount on gas. He works Monday - Friday, and some weeks he might be able to have Friday off! So neat! Also, in the summer he will be able to have longer weekends than he had with the other job! Really good! Praise God because we were praying for a new job!

Yesterday we had a Missions Sunday. We had both services geared toward missions and after the evening service, we had a lot of international food! All of it was really good and we had a pretty big variety. Somebody even brought some 'monkey meat'. So funny!!!!! =) Dalton really thought it was.. hahahahaahah. Oh well.

School has been going really good. I just LOVE writing!!! The other day I was able to knock out two subjects in one paper! I wrote on the history of Australia. So that took care of History and Writing. I'm in 10th grade this year! yippee! Only two years to go after this! My subjects for this year are World History, Algebra, Writing, Physical Science, Spanish, and Physical Education.

In other 'exciting' news. I have to have my wisdom teeth taken out. Yikes. So. Lovely. Well, I have TMJ disorder, and I can't open my mouth and I have some pain. So, I went to the dentist and they gave me a splint until we're ready to have my teeth taken out. It's not hurting so bad that I don't have to have them taken out right now, so that's good!

It's been a busy week!



Last Monday we had Low Country Preacher's Fellowship at our church. It was really fun! We had to cook supper for about 150 people. We were rather busy with everything. It started at 2:00 and we had about 4 preachers in the afternoon and one in the evening after supper. It was really fun! We had just about everyone who does special singing at our church to sing in between preachers, including me and my friend, Adara. We sang 'He Knows my Name'. We really enjoyed it although I was nervous. Also, I played the organ all day too.




We are starting school on Monday. I'm sort of ready, but sort of not! LOL, I'll be in 10th grade and I'm ready for it to end already! :D Only three years of high school left for me!!! YAHOO!!! I'm ready, but I'm looking forward to learning new things.



I don't know how many of y'all looked at the pictures in my last post, but were any of y'all able to see them? I was just wondering. I have some more picture right here for you to look at!

Fourth of July

Long time - No post.... the story of my life.. LOL

I'm such a slacker in blogging.. Hopefully it won't be that long until y'all hear from me again.

We had a good Fourth of July! We went over to a friend's house for supper and went to see fireworks nearby. So much fun! I took around two hundred pictures of the fireworks!! yikes! Although I deleted some which weren't as good as the others.

I am wearing… a pink, dark brown, and tan shirt and a dark brown tiered skirt and a new watch I got for my birthday!!!

I am reading… I Kings, Psalms and Proverbs and a book on slavery.

I am creating… nothing special!!

One of my favorite things… wow... I like a LOT of my things.. I know I've done this one before, but I LOVE my piano my great aunt gave me!!!

For education this week… SCHOOLS OUT!!! YES!!

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning... Canning and working in the garden.

A spiritual lesson I'm learning...Faithfulness

A godly character trait I plan to work on… Faithfulness

Scripture I am memorizing… Hebrews 12:1&2 (which is the memory verse for Vacation Bible School at our church)

I'm praying for… Vacation Bible School to go well this week and for some little ones to get saved!!!!

For the rest of the week… VBS!!
