For education this week…
We started school back about a month ago. We had last week off so we're hopefully starting back this week again. My subjects for this school year (I'm in 11th grade, btw) are:
Geometry
Government and Economics
Spanish (I was supposed to take that last school year but several things happened so I took my last science credit... No more science for school!! Praise God!)
Geography
English III (I'm doing British Literature right now. 'Silas Marner')
Speech and Debate
P.E.

I'm *hoping* to be done with school by December 2011. ;)

A keeper at home skill I am learning/using...
Not necessarily a 'keeper at home skill' but I started giving Bethany piano lessons last week. Tomorrow will be our second lesson ;) ya!

Hey!
I should seriously post more for my blogger friends but I get on Facebook a lot so I don't really have time to get on here ;)

We went to the zoo last Tuesday. That was a lot of fun!

I celebrated my 16th birthday on June 13. I had the *best* birthday gift!! One of my brother's (Jesse) got saved!! PRAISE GOD!

We're hosting the local Low Country Fellowship at our church on Monday so we're going to be busy getting ready. (Planning meals, going out on visitation, and getting the church ready). Can't wait though!!

Okay... I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted!! O.o

    Lots to tell about!

   We have a new addition to our family! (No....mom's not expecting! LOL) It's a puppy!! She's a black lab and her name is Sheba. She's adorable and she loves to chew on everything.... any time you walk by, she'll chase you and start chewing on the end of your skirt. I've (ah-hem, SHE) ripped one already. haha :P She just turned 7 weeks yesterday. We don't have a working camera or I would post tons of pictures of her. It's KILLING me not to have a camera to take pictures with!! I love photography and I'm constantly thinking, "Wow! I'd love to take a picture of that..."

            Speaking of wanting to take a picture of something, my pastor's wife had their baby!! Praise God! She's adorable!! :) Miss Naomi was born last Monday. She looks just like two of her older sisters. Lemme tell you something..... Faith (their 6yo) weighed 10lbs 2oz and my sister, Bethany, was born about three months later and weighed 10lbs 3oz. Well, Gloria was born a little over a year ago and has a face full of dimples, and Naomi has dimples!! That is so amazing! It's really crazy how that worked out. It's a joke that it must be something in the water that we drink. hehe

          Campmeeting is in just 9 days!! Yes! (For the past 5-6 years, we have been going to a campmeeting that is about 1hr 1/2 -2hrs from our house. It is amazing! We love it.... ) Well, I'll post later hopefully! :)

I am thankful… for God healing my ear and giving back almost all my hearing! (Praise God!)

I am wearing... A tiered blue jean skirt with a tan, brown, green, and teal striped sweater.

I am reading… nothing really. I just finished the books that I got from the library. I think I'll be reading something for science.

I am creating… a gift for a friend.

One of my favorite things… My piano!!! ;) :D

An elderly couple walked into the lobby of the Mayo Clinic for a checkup and spotted a piano. They've been married for 62 years and he'll be 90 this year. Check out this impromptu performance. We are only as old as we feel, it's all attitude. Enjoy! They certainly do.

This is SO cute! I hope I can play like that one day! :D

Sorry for not posting in a while but I've got a good excuse. ;)

    I've been sick since last Monday with the flu. I'm over it now (Praise God!) Last Friday my right ear started hurting a little bit, but I thought it was just sinus pressure. Well, I layed down to take a nap and by the time I woke up, my ear was hurting pretty badly. I took some Ibuprofen in hopes that it would clear up. My mom put some warm oil in my ear to help ease the pain. After a couple of minutes, my ear started draining a pink fluid and the pain decreased a little bit.  At first we thought it was the oil coming out but after a while it was just too much 'oil' to be what mom put in. We did some research on the computer and dad called the doctor and we finally diognosed it as a ruptured ear drum. Yikes! Well, the docter said to keep taking Ibuprofen and lay down on my right side so the fluids would drain out. She said that if the pain got any worse or if I started draining blood out of that ear to go to the emergency room or to come to the office. Everything was fine until Sunday morning when I woke up and I saw that my other ear was draining blood! That was very scary. So, we went to the docter and she gave me some antibiotics and said that it should clear up. I can't hear very well out of both ears but hopefully after a while, I'll gain my hearing back. The draining has slowed down a whole lot and I don't have near as much pain as I did last weekend! Praise God!!!! :)

       Sunday-Wednesday we had a Missions Conference at our church. We had Bro. Mike Renfrow to preach. I wish that I was feeling better through those services! I was able to sing in the choir and play the organ on Wednesday. (I didn't feel like playing/singing the other nights). Now if I could just get my hearing back!!! ;) :D Haha, people at church were joking with me saying stuff like, 'Can you hear me? Do I need to speak LOUDER'. Veeery funny. LOL

      Something else happened that was very exciting!! It SNOWED in South Carolina! Yes! It snowed about 7-8 inches! (That's a LOT!!) That was on the 12th. My camera is broke so I didn't get to take any pictures :'( Oh well!

        Praise God for healing me and hopefully I'll be able to post more often now! I'll also try to get back to your comments soon. I wasn't ignoring you, I promise! ;)

I am thankful… for God keeping us safe and warm (for the most part ;) when we went on visitation at our church on Saturday.

I am reading… Nothing beside the Bible for right now. We just returned our library books so I'm not reading anything right now. Time for a library trip! haha

Tonight we go to church and I can't wait:) Today is the first Wednesday of the year! I can't believe it! It's going by way too quickly. Before you know it, it will be February. School seems to be going pretty good. We started back from our Christmas break on Monday. I did a paper today for History/Writing on Amelia Earhart. She's really interesting! I've always wondered if they will figure out the mystery of her disapearance.

Happy New Year, everybody!! Welcome 2010:)

I'm looking forward to this year although it's a bit scary seeing how fast last year has gone by!!! I've met new friends and reunited with some old ones. :) God has been so good to me! He's given me too many blessings to count! Some of them I don't have any knowlegde of. He's given me good health, a great family, a wonderful church, great friends, and so much more!!! Just thinking about the salvation he's given to each and every one of us (for free!) thrills me to no end :) There is no one else on earth like Jesus! I could never EVER praise Him enough for everything He's given me!

Hello!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I sure did. God has been good!

We went to my great-grandmother's on Christmas Eve. We were able to see one of my cousins that we haven't seen in a while. He just got back from Afghanistan. It was great to see him!

We went to my Nana's and Pa's house on Christmas for dinner. Nana always cooks great food! I love it.

I got a music book that I've been wanting for a long while on Christmas!! It's from Majesty Music. I love all of Ron Hamilton's music. :) :)

I'm really enjoying that book!!! Do any of you have it? Do you like it?

Christmas is coming up quick!!! It's hard to believe it's only four days away! Pastor Kevin preached yesterday and he brought up a good point. Each year for Christmas, we usually give gifts to other people as a part of the celebration of Jesus' birth. But, since it is Jesus' birthday, aren't we supposed to give him gifts? What are you going to give Jesus for his birthday this year? Your life? Your money? your time? What do you think will be meaningful to him? Give Jesus the birthday that he would want. Don't let gifts to yourself get in the way of giving Jesus the birthday he wants.

I'm ALIVE......

Haha, I AM alive :)

I do have a good reason why I haven't been posting....

We use to have a laptop, but that broke. Then, we've had this really old computer we've had for years except it had a lot of viruses on it and it wouldn't let us go to certain websites without porn sites popping up. (Any Blogger sites and such being the places where it wouldn't let me go. Funny thing is that sometimes it would let me on Facebook.) And that computer wouldn't let us stay on the internet but for a few minutes then either the computer would shut down, or just the Internet Explorer pages would shut down! Ugh, so frustrating. Anyways, we were able to get a new to us computer (as an early Christmas present for the family) and that has been great!! I have a few subjects that are on the computer, so I've been able to use it to do my school now. The bad thing is that until we get the laptop fixed, I have no access to my papers that I have written for my writing and History subjects. Hopefully we can fix it and I can get them off from that computer!!!

I'm SO excited about the holidays and they seem to be flying by already! I can't believe it! God has been good to us and I'm soooo thankful for His loving kindness and grace. Our Thanksgiving went great! We went over to my Nana's and Pa's (mom's side) and had a WONDERFUL meal! I'm convinced that my Nana is the best cook, besides my mom :) It was great to see my aunts and uncle and my cousins!

We're having a Christmas play at our church this Sunday and we've been working hard on it. I'm praying that it will go well and that God will be glorified and that maybe some people will come in that have never heard the story of Christmas and will be saved! God works miracles and I know that it's possible :D

I'm SOOOOO sorry about not responding to every one's comments but hopefully I'll be able to get back to you! Thanks for all the invites to the groups!

I never post very often, so when I do, I have lots to post about! LOL

Dad got a new job! He started working at a propane place, which is really neat. We are able to get a small discount on gas. He works Monday - Friday, and some weeks he might be able to have Friday off! So neat! Also, in the summer he will be able to have longer weekends than he had with the other job! Really good! Praise God because we were praying for a new job!

Yesterday we had a Missions Sunday. We had both services geared toward missions and after the evening service, we had a lot of international food! All of it was really good and we had a pretty big variety. Somebody even brought some 'monkey meat'. So funny!!!!! =) Dalton really thought it was.. hahahahaahah. Oh well.

School has been going really good. I just LOVE writing!!! The other day I was able to knock out two subjects in one paper! I wrote on the history of Australia. So that took care of History and Writing. I'm in 10th grade this year! yippee! Only two years to go after this! My subjects for this year are World History, Algebra, Writing, Physical Science, Spanish, and Physical Education.

In other 'exciting' news. I have to have my wisdom teeth taken out. Yikes. So. Lovely. Well, I have TMJ disorder, and I can't open my mouth and I have some pain. So, I went to the dentist and they gave me a splint until we're ready to have my teeth taken out. It's not hurting so bad that I don't have to have them taken out right now, so that's good!

It's been a busy week!

Last Monday we had Low Country Preacher's Fellowship at our church. It was really fun! We had to cook supper for about 150 people. We were rather busy with everything. It started at 2:00 and we had about 4 preachers in the afternoon and one in the evening after supper. It was really fun! We had just about everyone who does special singing at our church to sing in between preachers, including me and my friend, Adara. We sang 'He Knows my Name'. We really enjoyed it although I was nervous. Also, I played the organ all day too.

We are starting school on Monday. I'm sort of ready, but sort of not! LOL, I'll be in 10th grade and I'm ready for it to end already! :D Only three years of high school left for me!!! YAHOO!!! I'm ready, but I'm looking forward to learning new things.

I don't know how many of y'all looked at the pictures in my last post, but were any of y'all able to see them? I was just wondering. I have some more picture right here for you to look at!

We had a good Fourth of July! We went over to a friend's house for supper and went to see fireworks nearby. So much fun! I took around two hundred pictures of the fireworks!! yikes! Although I deleted some which weren't as good as the others.

It's been a while, eh?

I'm SOOO ready for summer! Mom went and got us some water guns the other day. They are a lot of fun. We've been playing with them a lot!

I should be done with school by this coming weekend. I'm SOOO excited! Although I'm going to be working through the summer with some subjects so I can (hopefully) graduate a year early. (In my 11th year). Well, that's the plan, anyways! lol

My 15th birthday is only 11 days a way!! YES!!! ♥♥♥ I'm ready for it!

The other day, Bethany and Joyanna decided to do a make over.. and cut their hair... It's not as bad as it could of been, but you could still tell!!!! Ugh, I did the same thing when I was little, except a LOT worse! My hair was down to my waist and I cut it to right below my shoulders. LOL, I tried to hide the hair underneath my bed, but my mom was too smart!!! ;-) I know several friends who have cut their hair when they were younger.. Why do we do dumb things like that? *Ü*

First off, we went to TN weekend before last to visit some family. We had lots of fun! I'll have to post some pictures and maybe a video later when I have more time.

Second, our church flooded on Monday. It was devastating. It was about 1/2 inch deep, but it was poured cement underneath the carpet, so it was deeper in some parts. Well, everything is all right as of now and they are drying everything out with fans now. So, that is about it. Oh, and something else, we just had a work day on Saturday where we cleaned and repainted the nursery and everything... ugh. Oh well. Everything's all right now :-) Just pray that nothing else will happen.

Someone gave us a little vacuum and Joy-Anna has been wanting to clean with it all the time. It's so cute. Here is a picture of it.

Hello!

I'm am blogging from a new computer~~~ a new laptop!!! It's SOOOO nice~! I love it.. It's an HP. It has a web-cam and it plays DVDs. We were planing on getting a laptop b/c we needed one for my schooling next year. I really LOVE it. Oh well, in other words, I'm really fond of this laptop! ;-)

Church went well at our church last night, but we all really miss our pastor!!!! :,-( The pianist at our church was sick so I had to play the piano. It was really nice. I haven't substituted in a while because my pastor's wife knows how to play, so whenever the pianist was out, the pastor's wife would play. LOL, sorry for the confusion!

My mom came up with a new schedule and it's working really well! I'm getting A LOT more school done then what I'd normally get done. I'm done with most of my subjects before lunch time and I only have Biology and US History to get done in the afternoon!! Yahoo! Also, on Fridays we have the afternoon off for grocery shopping, library trips, and for the park. That's really fun!

Well, I just received a package from a friend.... it was full of books!!!! It's books of Anne of Green Gables.... One of my favorite characters is Anne (with an E!) I have a lot of Anne of Green Gables books, but I didn't have any of these. Thank you so much Mrs. Laurie! :-) I know what I'm going to be reading the next few days~! LOL!

Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, 'Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today.'After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly. 'Oh,' she said, 'on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together.'

As I am finally posting, I would like to thank whoever left me loving comments, inquiring if I was well... I am well.. I am not good at posting often! (As I have said time and time again, I will TRY, (mind you), TRY , to post more often, and not every 2 months. (Which I have not done in a while)*sigh* Pray for me....
I would like to share what I have got out of my Bible reading today. I have been reading in Job.

Job 4:3&4 (I read the whole chapter, but these two verses stuck out to me)
Vs. 3: He had wisdom to instruct. We need to have wisdom like Job had, but most of all like Jesus has.
Vs. 3&4: Job had a good testimony. We need to keep, if not have, a good testimony for God, let His light shine through us. Also, he encouraged others when they needed encouragement.

We just got back from the church about 3 hours ago. We were cleaning the Fellowship hall for the Low Country Preachers Fellowship. Everyone is invited! It will be on JULY 9th starting at 2:00 for the afternoon service. We will have supper around 5:30 (I think so). We will have the evening service at 7:30.
Hope you can come.

I am thinking about changing my blog look... what are your thoughts on that? If you think I should what theme should it be?

We just got finished eating lunch. I have my Bible reading and Language Arts done. We had chicken nuggets w/ Ranch dressing, mustard, and ketchup. I like mine with Ranch Dressing. It tastes good. I like ranch on a lot of things. Examples: Baked chicken, Fried chicken, chicken wraps, spaghetti, and salad (har-har).Although I prefer Thousand Island instead of ranch on my salad.
Joyanna is smart. She had a rattle and was shaking it and accidently hit me with it. So she learned that she can hit people with it. Now she does it on purpose and laughs at you saying 'ow' . We are getting a side of beef from dad's boss. Well, actually we share the cow. Dad's boss get's one side of the cow and we get one side of the cow. This will be the first time we have done this. Oh well, My ten minutes is up.

We are having a revival this coming Monday. Bro. Jack Trip is going to be preaching. I don't think I have heard him preach... but I will this Monday. It will be through Sat. at 7:30 each night. We had a church fellowship after the evening service on Sunday. You bring a light supper. It is a good time to fellowship with others in the church while we eat. Oh well...
It seems like I have a lot to write about when I'm not on the computer, and when I am, I don' t have any thing to say! My, what a life!!!! Jesse is in here drinking water out of an empty tic-tac container?!?! (he knows I don't like it and he takes a sip and says, "Good. Mmmm. That's GORGEOUS!" (?where did he get that from?) You see? We have a very busy life...

Hello!!!
The camp meeting was great! Bro. Joe Aurther preached the evening services. Bro. Milfred Biddle Preached once. IT WAS VERY REFREASHING!!!!!!! They had the Dice family to sing, (Bro Phil Dice), and the Voices of Praise to sing. They had some other people to sing and preach.
We have had this dog come around our yard and stay. It is a black lab mix with a white "beard" and his back paws are white too. He is ADORABLE!!!!!!! We think he belongs to a neighbor down the road who is giving away free mixed labs. We "named" him Oreo because he looks like an oreo cookie. When Bethany says Oreo it sounds like this: oo-ree-o (I guess you can understand that )?!?!?!?! Dad said he'll go back to his home. I said, "Dad what if he stays for ever? What do we do?" He said, " Well I guess he gets to stay for ever! " We'll see what becomes of it....

Sorry it's been a while! We are planning to go to a camp meeting this coming week. It's the 16th-18th. I really do like the camp meeting because you hear good singing and preaching. It's sort of like a mini vacation for us. We go with our Pastor and some friends at church. It is nice!!!! We went to a yard sale today and went to a community and the people there had HIGH prices like 15 dollars for a denim jumper!!!! That shocked me and mom! This is what we picked up at yard sales and at Good-Will.
3 cotton button down shirts for Dalton & Samuel @ $0.50 each.
a pair of sunglasses for me. $0.75
a pair of sandals for Bethany @ $2.00
a skirt for mom @ $3.00
a jumper for mom & $4.00
2 1/2 gallon pitchers @ $ 1.00 each
There was about 3 or 4 small items I can't remember. But it came to around $20.00 for it all.
Tomorrow in between church services we are going to eat at a friend's house for lunch. It will be nice because we will not have to go home to fix lunch. Oh well, I think I will post some pictures. I'm going to try to make it my goal to post every 3-4 days.

We just got home from grocery shopping. We were trying to get done two weeks of grocery shopping instead of one. It has been a full night and my back is hurting... ...! Oh, and I admire you Ryann... for butchering those chickens! We took out the back seat to the van (15pass) and the boys 'n Beth are playing on it like a bunch of wild monkeys...making lots of racket...

Its been a long time!

When I would put in the title and push backspace, it would go back to the last page! So.... after a few tries— I just gave up. So now, I just don't put a title up!!!!!!!!!
Oh well, I should be finished with school at the very beginning of May. Then I hope to start 8th grade a little earlier next school year...So maybe I can start 9th grade even a little bit more the school year after that, So on an' so on , so I might be able to finish High school a little earlier... how does it sound?!?!?!?!?!?
Joyanna is growing like a weed, she will be 5 mths on the 22nd! Beth & Jesse are still partners in crime, (not exactly crime, but sometimes it seems close enough).......... Bubba (Dalton) and Samuel are doing fine. I got this cute skirt from a lady a church it is light brown w/ fall colors on it. It is so nice!

Our VBS went well, we have had several visiters that have been coming since then from the event. We also had a LCF( Low Country Preachers Fellowship) at our church last month. Beth is becoming SO ROTTEN... She just won't obey or if she does she does it with a temper!!! While I was cross stitching she took away some of my fabric or something and ran away from me into Mom's room and tucked it under her skirt, well I saw her do it and I said, ''Where is it?", and she said, "Right here"! I thought, "THANKS FOR TELLING ME"!!!!!!

Hey all ya'll!

Sorry I havn't posted for a while, but they have this thing to where you have to change your password and all that...so.... and ...um... (excuses...excuses...). Well we did go to Waltorboro for a campmeeting! We stayed at a hotel, and got fed WONDERFUL MEALS, and they had very nice preaching and singing and they were all so nice!

We are REALLY planning for the vacation now we just have to order our swimsuits, get packed, and go! ( Getting packed and going to the OBX has to wait until later on in May)!

Tuesday, March 7, 2006 - Vacation Plans ; sorta

What have ya'll all been up to? Well, we have been planning a vacation to the OBX in NC. We are going to rent a house there and are spliting the rent with some friends and are going to share the house. They have 8 CHILDREN!!!!!! I think that is SO NEAT! ( Hey Sadie and Rachel Werner)!!!! They have 3 girls and 5 boys. We are going in May. So, in my previous post, I posted about the Sorrell family? Well, Mrs. Sorrell had surgery this morning on a cyst that was near her spinal cord,( near or on, can't remember). So, be in pray for them.

This is what we have had to eat today so far:

Just a note to say what has been going on lately! Well, the Sorrells, the missionary family sent out of our church. They are a real nice family! Two of the daughters out of their family is around my age. There is five children. .

The sad thing is for today is that today was Martha's due date! (Mom had a miscarriage last September). Oh well, I better go!!!

Hello ya'll,

How are ya'll doing? I am fine. Hopefully we are going to go on vacation sometime in May. We are going to Outer Banks, NC. We are going to go with friends and are going to rent a house. They have 8 children () and live in PA. So... hopefully that will work out. A lady in our church died on the 16th. She was 83 and was a very sweet lady. She was very beloved by all of our church members. Her name was Mrs. Dabbs. We had her funeral Sunday in between church services at 2:00 in the afternoon. We ate lunch at my Dad's work place so that we didn't have to go home, eat, turn around and come back.

This is a terrific idea I got from my mom! If you want to check your friend's blogs without having to go back and forth, back and forth from their blog to your blog to check to see if they have any posts, just where you write the address-or what ever you call it- in your screen ( where you write the www.so-and-so.com) go to your blog and type friends/ ( along with your website address at the beginning) and hit enter. Then your friends that you have on your friends list, what they have posted lately should show up! It worked on mine- tell me if it doesn't on your's. Anyway... So it would look like this

Where it says your user name, put your's in! It saves a lot of time to see what your friends posted instead of going to each separate blog.

The missions revival went well. Did I tell you that we had one? Actully, I don't think I did. Oh, well. We had one the 5th - 8th. It just ended last night! We are going to miss it. We didn't get to go Monday because Mom and Jesse weren't feeling all that great. I missed church. Oh well, The Sorrells missionaries to Sri-Lanka, flew in to the states last night. They flew into Charlotte and are driving to Columbia, so pray for them as they drive here.

Well, how are all of ya'll doing? I'm fine! We went to a revival last night. It was at Beacon Baptist. They had Bro. Jimmy Rose, missionary to Brazil. We support him. Bro. Rose preached on how God called Abraham to offer his son as a burnt offering.

Hello!

How are ya'll doing? I am fine. We went to the Charleston Aquarium. They had dollar day! That is a good price compared to about $8.00-$15.00! They have a lot of neat stuff. We went with the Rogersons. It was fun! We went to Cracker Barrel to eat after we went. It was a day trip for us. Any ways...

Well, Mom washed & dried some clothes and in some of the boys pants pocket the boys had put some crayon so... Mom is really frustrated right now. And by the way... it was a red crayon!!! Oh, my! So... that is the excitment for today!

We are going to a ladies meeting at church tonight. We are supposed to bring a study on peace. We are going to have salad. We have to bring our favorite topping... and dressing. I don't know what we are going to bring.

Before that we have to go to the dentist to get Me, Dalton, and Samuel's check-up. I have this HUGE cavity in one of my molars. It is a baby tooth, so that is good. The dentist has been wanting to wait and let it fall out instead of getting it filled. We will see what he says today.

Now back to the boring stuff- here we go---

We had South Western Beef Bake and Spanish rice tonight. We are starting Bethy on potty training today-- hopefully we will continue it.
How has everybody doing???? We went to Aunt Reba Ann's yesterday. She gave us too much-- no kidding. Our cousins from Mississippi gave us some presents in that bunch of presents. They gave all togather to me, 20 Questions Electronic mind game, Bed slippers, a bath set, and for all us children togather they gave us Quest for Camelot,( a movie) Connect Four, ( a game) and some smiley face stickers. They gave a lot more for the boys each, but don't have time to type them.

Faith's Bottemless Stew

8 cups water
8 beef bouillon cubes
4 carrots, peeled and sliced*
1 small onion, peeled and sliced*
4 stalks of celery*
1/2 pound roast beef deli meat cut into 1/2 inch peices
3 peeled potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces*

**** Make sure all vegetables are washed****

Place water into large soup pot. Add bouillon cubes. Turn burner on medium-
high. Peel and slice vegetables. Add prepared vegetables to pot. Turn on high and bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer with a lid on for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of simmering vegetables, add chopped meat. Now simmer for 30 minutes more.

This takes about a hour and a half to make but it is good!

Hello!!!

I'm starting a new category on my blog, so hopefully it will work. It is going to be a recipe category.
So, how is everybody's Christmas week going?!? Mine is going well. I just can't wait 'till Saturday because thats when we are going to open our presents.The reason we are going to be opening them on Saturday is because we are going to church and we will be going to my Nana's and Pa's after church for lunch so on Sunday... we won't have time to play with our presents or open them.

We had homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Last night we had ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. We will be going to church tonight. I wonder what Pastor Rogerson will be preaching on...

... it's been a while, but I don't have an excuse except that I've had a cold lately. So... I know ya'll all have been giving up on me here---!!! Any ways... Hopefully you will forgive me. Thanks heartofvirtue for posting the recipie on here. I have not tried it yet, but am going to have to buy some Ritz crackers. (or does it work with just saltines? Well, I guess it woudn't be Ritzy Chicken without the Ritz crackers, I guess it would be called Saltinzy Chicken).

How is every one doing out there? (what I mean is 'I want a comment' ) I am fine. I went to my Aunt Reba Ann's yesterday. (she really is my great aunt, but I just call her 'aunt' ). We went there because my cousins from Mississippi came in for Thanksgiving, and they only come in for holidays or speical occassions, so it is really a treat to see them. My cousin Karen is a year and one Month older then I am, so, we get along real well. Their van had something wrong with it, so they had to trade it in. They are going to go back on Sunday.

Ponder this...
We ate out last night at McDonalds and got dollar burgers on the dollar menu. Did you know that their double cheeseburgers are $1.00 and that their regular cheesebugers are $0.99? So, guess what would be a better deal? The double cb( I'll just do cb for 'cheeseburger'!!! So, instead of buying 2 regular cb's, you can buy one double cb for a for a better price!!!

Anybody have some neat dinner recipes that I can fix? Any type of recipe would do.

Thursday, November 17, 2005 - Hello!!! (again)

Hey!

You'll have to excuse me for not posting in a while! Well, we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They were good. We have 5 leftover though. They are the kind with the cream cheese frosting! We went to go do some work at the church yesterday. The boys, Daddy, and I went up there and installed them in and we played in Pastor Rogerson's yard with their girls.( Hope and Hannah {4}, who are twins and Faith who is 2). Well, we didn't leave till about three something and we didn't have lunch yet so Mrs. April, ( Pastor Rogerson's wife) had fixed food for us and didn't know that we had just left! ( poor you Mrs. April)!

Hello!

How is everybody doing out there?!?! Well, we are fine. My dad is putting in a new microwave we got on vacation this last September. We got it at a thrift shop in Charleston for $40.00! It is a BIG microwave compared to what we had. We had a small microwave so small to where you could not fit a casserole dish in! Now that was SMALL!!! I am learning about the History of South Carolina in a book and it has questions that you answer at the end of the chapter. I have learned so far the landscape and the about the normal weather. Does anybody do Keepers of the Faith? I do. It is really neat. I have a lot of badges, and I hope to get more.

So, I hope that I will be able to post what we eat. We ate biscuits and gravy for breakfast, and corn dogs for lunch, and I do not know what we are going to eat for supper yet. What is your favorite game? Mine is The Game of Life and Scrabble.

Tuesday, November 1, 2005 - Sorry I have not posted in a while!

Hey~

Oh well, hope ya'll had time to answer my questions on my last entry! Just in case you want to know, you don't have to answer the last one! We had lunch over at my Nana's and Pa's Sunday. We had ham, sweet potatoe casserole, greens and cresent rolls. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast today and we had mac-n-cheese and leftover ham from Sunday for lunch. We are going to have pizza tonight for supper. HOMEMADE pizza!

I hope I will be getting at mandolin kit for Christmas. It is for $79.99. That is pretty good because it has a dvd that shows you how to play it, and the mandolin, a pitch pipe,and picks. That is a Violin, but I couldn't find a mandolin. LOL!!! Post what you would like to have for Christmas! Dalton wants a lasso and half a knight set, and Samuel wants a bugle and the other half of the knight set. Jesse wants a bugle to and I don't know what else he wants. Bethany, I have NO CLUE!

Me and the boys and Daddy are making a tee pee, we hope to sleep in it during the night some night when it is not raining because we are doing it with sheets.

* :~Hey~: * Just a note to say what's been going on during the weekend. Friday, we did a bit of school, not much but a little bit of math.We had Tator-tot-casserole and salad as a side. Thursday, we went to Aldi and we got a whole buggy FULL of food for about $60.00. That is pretty good. We went to get our hair trimmed Thursday and Bethanys' hair was so short already and it had alot of split ends on, so, we had to trim it and her hair up front looks like bangs now. My mom doesn't like it, but I do. I guess she Isn't used to it. The bangs really suit her, but mom wants them to grow out. Saturday we just hung around the house and cleaned. We don't do school on Saturdays. We want do school Monday-Friday, but it hasn't really worked out that way yet. Hopefully it will. Well, I hope everything is going ok for everyone out there!!! We watched a movie Saturday. The movie was (well, I guess you can call it a show), The Lucy Show. The show was called "Lucy meets the Bearls".( I think thats how you spell it). We don't watch Satelite we just watch movie over the weekend or one during the week. We like going to the library. Does anyone know any good christian book series? I read the Mandie series. It is a good series. You can probably look it up on http://www.google.com/ . ( I couldn't get the hyperlink to work.( I could just post these smilies all day)!!! Sunday we had Crock-pot Chicken and Sweet potato Casserole!!! I highlighted it because I like it. Yahoo! It was GOOD! Thanks Mom!!!

Friday, October 21, 2005 - Pictures of my Family
Good afternoon!!! I hope I can get these pictures on here. I tried it one time but hit a wrong key, and it didn't show-up right, so my dad showed me how. Well, me and my mom and my sister are getting our hair trimmed. The lady who trims our hair is named Ms. Nelson. She does very good!! We ask her to trim about 1 inch and she does. She doesn't cut more then you want, and she won't cut above 3 inches, even if you want her to. Thats really good for people who want long hair, but want it trimed, but still want it long. Wednesday, October 19, 2005 - Busy day!
Hello!

Today is a busy day. we have school, church and other things to do. Sometimes I play the piano at church. Church is one thing, Boy, oh boy! You have to give the boys showers, get them dressed, find shoes put them on, and everything else that goes along with it!!! Well, if you have a big family you know what I mean. We went to our church's ladies' meeting, they had leftover danishes. So, we took the leftover ones. There was only 6 left so we ate them for breakfast, it did'nt fill us up, so we ate a banana. I've been trying to keep my room clean, and have done it the past 3 months!!! That's really a biggy for me because I'm not the "mean-lean-cleaning machine" if you know what I mean, because when you have little children coming along behind ya, you have a problem! I have been trying to do my own laundry so that is another biggy for me also, but I'm pretty used to doing odds and ends laundry. Well better be getting off from here, or I'll be typing (or what some people call it now, keyboarding) the day away! Brittany

My name is Brittany Watson and I'm 11. I'm a sister to 3 brothers, Dalton who is 8, Samuel who is 6, and Jesse who is 3. I have 2 sisters, (one who is in heaven with Jesus) Bethany who is 1, and Martha Joy.
